Monthly ‘Self Care Sundays’ – An extended class, that includes a nurturing Restorative Yoga practice followed by a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra Meditation, with time to chat over tea & homemade nutritious treats!

These Self-Care Sundays are designed as a sanctuary from life’s constant demands— a chance to slow down, release tension, and replenish your inner reserves. Both practices support your nervous system in releasing the effects of fight, flight, and freeze responses, which can be especially beneficial after illness or challenging experiences.

The results? A mind and body that feel more peaceful, grounded, balanced, and at ease. Many practitioners also experience improved sleep, sharper mental focus, enhanced creativity, and countless other benefits.

Restorative Yoga is a gentle practice where your body is fully supported with props, creating a sense of comfort and security. By holding postures for extended periods, you’ll experience gentle softening and opening of your muscles without strain. This mindful practice helps you identify where tension is stored in your body, facilitating release and gradually improving flexibility.

Yoga Nidra (meaning “sleep”) is a guided meditation that allows you to drift into a profoundly relaxing state between wakefulness and sleep. The benefits are remarkable—45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is said to provide rejuvenation equivalent to 3 hours of sleep.
